When can I enroll?
Our goal is to provide you with the camp dates as early as possible to accommodate your planning schedule throughout the year. Once the dates and locations are posted on our website enrollment is open and is ongoing based on program availability.
Who will be supervising and coaching my child at camp?
Each group at camp will be coached by a New York State Licensed Physical Education Teacher/Coach. We also hire high school student athletes to officiate the games being played and assist during the different camp activities.
How are the groups determined?
Groups are determined by age level. To create a safe environment campers will always play with and against other children that are close in age.
Can my child be on the same team as a friend?
YES!! The coaches do their very best to keep campers with their friends through the games and activities. Our goal is to provide a fun atmosphere for all campers and make them feel as comfortable as possible. The coaches will ask the campers the first day if they enrolled in camp with a friend.
Do the camps close out due to high enrollment?
YES!! All of our camps have a close out number. Due to facility space and our goal of providing a safe environment we limit each camp session to a safe number of campers.
What should I bring to camp?
Proper physical education attire(t-shirt, shorts, sneakers), a water bottle labeled with campers name and a healthy snack.
Is there water available?
Yes!! Water is always available to the campers at our water station.
What happens when it rains? (E.Northport SUMMER CAMP ONLY)
In the situation of severe rain in the forecast camp will be cancelled for the day. An email will be sent by 8:00am notifying all families. Weather cancellations will be posted on our website.
*If camp is cancelled due to the weather, 1 hour will be added to the remaining days of the camp session. If camp is cancelled on FRIDAY there will be no make up, credit or refund.
If campers are at camp and it begins to rain, camp will continue outside(light rain) or inside the facility(thunderstorm).
What if it is really hot outside?
It is always anticipated to be warm during our summer camps. During a unusually hot day, there will be water breaks every 15-20 minutes and "cool down" breaks in the shade.
